As authorized dealers of Hytera and Tait Communications, we apply their comprehensive manufacturer warranties to ensure our customers receive the best possible service and support. Additionally, Metrotalk offers a robust warranty for our aftermarket accessories, providing extra assurance for our valued customers.

Hytera Manufacturer Warranty Information

1. Warranty Period

– Two-Way Radios (DMR Terminals and Repeaters): 36 months

– Multi-Mode and LTE Terminals: 24 months

– Body Cameras: 12 months

– Accessories: 12 months

2. Warranty Coverage

Hytera’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. During the warranty period, Hytera will repair or replace, at their discretion, any product found to be defective. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

3. Extended Warranty Options

Hytera offers the option to purchase extended warranties for select products. The maximum warranty period, including extensions, cannot exceed 60 months. You must purchase the extended warranty at the same time you buy the equipment. Please contact us for current pricing and availability.

Tait Communications Manufacturer Warranty Information

1. Warranty Period

– Two-Way Radio Equipment: 24 months

– TP2210, TP3300 and TP3350 Radios: 12 months

– Accessories and Batteries: 12 months

2. Warranty Coverage

Tait Communications’ warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. During the warranty period, Tait Communications will repair or replace, at their discretion, any product found to be defective. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

3. Extended Warranty Options

For TP2210,  TP3300, and TP3350 radios, Tait offers the option to purchase an additional one-year warranty, extending the coverage to 24 months. Tait offers the option to purchase additional warranties for select products. The maximum warranty period, including extensions, cannot exceed 60 months. Metrotalk Aftermarket Accessories Warranty

1. Warranty Period

– Aftermarket Accessories (excluding batteries, antennas, and chargers): 36 months

– Aftermarket Batteries, Antennas, and Chargers: 12 months

2. Warranty Coverage

The Metrotalk warranty for aftermarket accessories covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. During the warranty period, Metrotalk will repair or replace, at our discretion, any accessory found to be defective. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

Exclusions

The warranties do not cover:

– Normal wear and tear

– Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance

– Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or repairs

– Natural disasters or environmental conditions are responsible for certain types of damage

– Consumable parts such as antennas, batteries, and chargers, unless found to be defective within the warranty period

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you experience any issues with your Hytera, Tait Communications products, or Metrotalk aftermarket accessories within the warranty period, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Metrotalk Customer Support: Reach out to our customer support team at [Your Contact Number] or [Your Contact Email]. Provide your purchase details, including the date of purchase, product model, and a description of the issue. Proof of purchase is also required.

 

  1. Obtain a Return Authorization: Our customer support team will assess your claim and, if applicable, provide a Return Authorization (RA) number. This RA number must be included with your returned product.

 

  1. Return the Product: Carefully pack the product, including all original components and accessories, and ship it to the address provided by our customer support team. Ensure the RA number is clearly marked on the package.

 

  1. Inspection and Repair/Replacement: Upon receipt, the manufacturer’s technicians or Metrotalk’s team will inspect the product to determine the cause of the issue. If the product is found to be defective and covered under warranty, they will repair or replace it at no charge. If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will provide an estimate for repair or replacement costs.
