The Tait TP9900 Multiprotocol Multiband Portable Radio significantly improves community safety outcomes with enhanced interoperability between first responders, schools, utilities, and other public sector organizations. This compact, rugged, and reliable portable radio accesses P25, DMR, and analog channels in multiple frequency bands, making it perfect for multi-agency cooperation.

Key Features of the Tait TP9900:

  • Maximum Connectivity: The TP9900 supports a range of networks, including Conventional Analog, P25 Conventional Digital, P25 Trunking, DMR Tier 2, and Tier 3. It also features integrated GNSS for location services, Bluetooth® for wireless accessories, and WiFi OTAP. Analog signaling includes Two Tone decode, MDC1200, PL (CTCSS), DPL (DCS), and Selcall.
  • Enhanced Worker Safety: Standard features include Man Down and Lone Worker, which send automated safety alerts. These can be combined with location data and Tait GeoFencing software options for effective response. The programmable Emergency key can also send safety alerts manually. Voice annunciation of radio settings and battery levels enables eye-up operation.
  • Secure Communication: Ensure only authorized personnel can hear your communications with end-to-end encryption management options, including FIPS 140-2 certified module, AES, DES, and ARC4 algorithms.
  • Rugged and Lightweight Design: The TP9900 is the most compact multiprotocol, multiband portable radio on the market, with up to 19 hours of shift life in TDMA mode. It is built to withstand rough treatment in harsh environments, meeting IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards.
  • Exceptional Audio Quality: This model features a powerful 3W speaker and dual microphones with active noise cancellation to remove background noise in both analog and digital modes.
  • Ergonomic User Experience: Designed for easy use in emergencies, with ergonomic, easy-grip controls, four programmable function keys, and a three-way selector. It supports a range of accessories to tailor the user experience.
