Hytera HALO PoC Systems and Applications
PoC devices enable two-way radio communication through LTE cellular networks and Wi-Fi.
What is PoC?
PoC stands for Push-to-Talk over Cellular. PoC devices enable two-way radio communication through LTE cellular networks and Wi-Fi. PoC network services are hosted in the cloud. Gateway routers connect the LTE cellular network and the cloud-hosted PoC server. There are several PoC systems available in the market. We offer Hytera HALO PoC systems and applications.
Hytera HALO PoC Systems
Hytera HALO Nationwide
Hytera HALO Nationwide is a subscription-based National Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) two-way radio communication network that utilizes mobile network operators’ 4G/LTE cellular infrastructure.
Hytera HALO PoC devices connect to the LTE cellular network infrastructure of Mobile Network Operators using a SIM card. PoC network services are hosted in the Cloud on servers operated by the Hytera HALO PoC platform.
Hytera PoC radios and bodycams also support Wi-Fi connectivity. The Wi-Fi capability enables calls inside buildings with Wi-Fi network connectivity or outdoors in areas with Wi-Fi network hotspots. PoC radios automatically and seamlessly switch to an LTE network when a caller moves outside the Wi-Fi network range.
Hytera HALO Nationwide
Key Features
Secure and instant nationwide radio communications.
No need to purchase, operate, and maintain radio network Infrastructure or frequency licenses.
PoC devices can work out-of-the-box with SIM cards preinstalled, and system configuration can be easily done through a web-based management application.
The Hytera HALO PoC platform allows any number of virtual channels and as many call groups as required.
Instant one-to-one (individual) calls or one-to-many (group) calls to different groups of people.
Users can communicate with each other and dispatch with free-form or pre-programmed text messages.
Stream and share videos between remote users when using video-capable POC devices.
Supports sending and receiving Emergency Alarms for enhanced worker safety.
PoC devices with integrated GPS enable location tracking with the Hytera HALO Dispatch application.
Hytera HALO OnSite
Push-to-Talk over Wi-Fi Radio System with OnSite Wi-Fi server.
Hytera HALO OnSite is a Push-to-Talk radio system that uses the Wi-Fi network in a large building, facility, or campus to provide instant group voice and video calling using Hytera HALO PoC devices.
It reduces equipment costs and enables rapid deployments over existing Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
Push-to-Talk over Wi-Fi systems use existing Wi-Fi networks, so there is no need for the repeaters and antennas required in traditional two-way radio networks, and they eliminate the need for expensive frequency licenses.
Hytera HALO Connect
Hytera HALO Connect is a communications platform that integrates different two-way radio systems into a single wide-area radio network with instant group calling and location-based dispatching.
It expands the DMR radio coverage areas with the Hytera HALO Nationwide PoC network that uses the cellular LTE (4G/Wi-Fi) network infrastructure of Mobile Network Operators.
Hytera HALO Connect provides an integrated radio ecosystem with individual and group communications between multiple systems.
Hytera SmartOne is the comprehensive integration platform and user interface for the HALO Connect unified radio network.
Hytera HALO PoC Applications
Hytera HALO Dispatch
Hytera HALO Dispatch is a powerful web-based communication and dispatch application and is the user interface for efficient PoC communications.
Provides instant nationwide group calling and enables dispatchers to build dynamic call groups quickly.
It enables tracking of driver locations and travel routes with time stamps.
With Hytera PoC video-capable devices, you can view and share real-time video.
Features full call recording, logging, and playback.
Draw geo-fence boundaries for individuals or groups of remote users and receive alarms when workers enter or leave geo-fence areas.
Users can communicate with each other and dispatch with free-form or pre-programmed text messages.
