How far your rental radios reach?

Average 1 to 2 miles line of sight. In city environments with buildings in between the range may be less while in outdoor spaces the radios may reach farther. If you have concerns about radio coverage for your event, we offer free demo radios for site surveys. To better assist you, just contact us and tell us about the type of event you are planning.

Beware of vendors that offer 10 plus miles of radio range. Read the fine print as this coverage usually happens when you are on top of high rise building or mountain top and the other person is in the valley below with nothing in between.

Do you offer insurance with your rentals?

No, we don’t. The customer is responsible for any damage to the rental equipment or for lost or stolen rental items. We checked with our insurance company, and they would only cover in the case the rental equipment was stolen from you and you filed a police report. Other companies may charge you an insurance fee, but that will only reduce the replacement cost you will have to pay.

Do you require a deposit to reserve rental radios?

No, we don’t require deposits or payments to reserve a rental order. We just request you sign the contract. When the delivery address is in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area, payment is required prior to delivering the order. For delivery addresses outside the DMV area, payment is required prior to shipping the order.

Can I cancel the rental order at any time?

Yes, as long as you let us know of the cancellation 24 hours before the delivery or shipping dates. If you let us know of the cancellation the same day the equipment has been delivered or shipped, you will only pay for delivery and pickup costs. After the delivery or shipping date, charges will depend on how long you have kept the rental equipment.
