The Tait TP9600 is an Analog, P25 Phase 1 & 2 Digital Trunked Two-way radio that’s 5.71” tall and weighs 11.75oz. Two models are available: the TP9655 with a limited keypad and the TP9660 with a full keypad. Both models have a channel capacity of 1000 that can be software upgraded to 2000.
Its compact yet rugged design meets and exceeds MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G standards and is IP68 and IP65 rated for water and dust protection. This ergonomic, rugged two-way radio with an internal 3-watt speaker allows for loud and clear communications.
The TP9600’s frequency range covers the UHF 378-470MHz and 450-520MHz bands with 4 watts, the VHF 136-174MHz band with 5 watts, and the 757-870MHz band with 3 Watts.
The Tait TP9600 series can be used in Analog direct and repeater, P25 Digital direct, repeater, and trunked mode covering the Phase 1 and Phase 2 formats.
