The Tait TM9700 Multiband Mobile Radio is a flexible, rugged, and reliable communication solution designed to enhance worker safety and productivity across multiple radio networks and frequency bands. Ideal for public safety, utilities, and other demanding environments, the TM9700 ensures seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Key Features of the Tait TM9700 Multiband Mobile Radio

  • Maximum Connectivity: The TM9700 connects to various networks you may encounter in current operations or future technology migrations, including Conventional Analog, MPT1327, DMR Tier 2 Conventional, and DMR Tier 3 Trunking. This ensures uninterrupted communication regardless of the network.
  • Enhanced Worker Safety: Includes Lone Worker feature to send automated safety alerts, which can be combined with location data and Tait GeoFencing software for effective response. The programmable Emergency key can also manually send safety alerts. Blast Alarms and Audible Alerts are supported on digital and analog Selcall channels.
  • Effective Operations with Voice and Data: The TM9700 supports pre-set status messages, short data messages for location, status, and text, and location services over conventional and trunked networks. Internal and external GNSS options are available. The TM9700 also supports IP data and RAP connectivity for messages in digital trunked mode.
  • Secure Communication: Offers encryption options, tools to manage lost or stolen radios, DMR authentication to prevent unauthorized network access, and Tait EnableProtect Advanced System Key for secure radio software and configuration access. Over-the-air programming (OTAP) with Tait EnableFleet allows for software and firmware updates over the Tait DMR Trunked network.
  • Options and Accessories: The TM9000 series shares a range of versatile user interface and installation options, including various microphones, 10W or 15W external speakers, and installation kits. Digital and analog interfaces support a wide range of optional connections.
